Pizza Express & Abby's Fried Chicken
Down on the bayou of south Louisiana lives one of PFG's most loyal customers. Dirk Guidry is the proud owner of 3 prestigious, well run restaurants. Dirk owns two Pizza Express restraurants. The first was opened in 1994 in Chauvin and the second established in Houma in 1999. Most recently he opened Abby's Fried Chicken in Chauvin earlier this year.
Dirk owes the utmost gratitude to his loving, supportivt family. His caring wife Wendy plays a vital role in managing and doing the bookeeping for all the locations. His oldest daughter Crystal, who hopes to take over ownership someday, is always pulling whatever management shifts are necessary to keep their restaurants up and running. Dirk and Wendy's youngest daughter, Abby, proudly had their most recently acquired chicken restaurant named after her. Abby was all but born and raised in their first pizza establishment.
Dirk still laughs about how he was written up by the Board of Health for having her in her play pin behind the counter during the hours of operation. Mr. Guidry prides himself on still beiing one of the only pizza places in Terrebonne Parish that still hand tosses his own pizza dough. All of their dough is made from scratch, as well as, their signature pizza and pasta sauce. Dirk and his family would like to thank Performance Foodservice - Caro and their area manager Richie Alexander. Dirk stresses the importance of the personal care, attention and advice that he received from Richie weekly.
