When hikers are planning their excursions within the White Mountains of New Hampshire’s vast trail system, they plan for every situation. With packs ready, they head off from one of the Appalachian Mountain Clubs many trail heads. Many will make camp along the way while chose to spend the night in the White Mountain’s rustic accommodations. There are eight Huts within the confines of the White Mountains. Each is fully staffed, and serves dinner and breakfast daily during the hiking season. I am not talking about just franks and beans here. We’re talking bacon and eggs, or turkey and mashed potatoes.
